IT'S NEVER TOO LATE TO START!

2nd Saturday

   Our 2nd Saturday program this year is based on the book 501 Rotary-Cut Quilt Blocks by Judy Hopkins. Each month we are offering four possible ways to make quilts. Blocks are designated as “easy” or “challenging”. The quilts are being offered in red, white, and blue as “easy” or “challenging”, or in reproduction fabrics as “easy” or “challenging”. The program is flexible in that you may want to start in an “easy” category, and if you find that you need more of a challenge, you can switch to “challenging” anytime because the fabric choices will be the same. 

   We are offering two 10” blocks per month, and also some months will (probably) be two 6” blocks, to give a variety of size blocks in the finished quilt. Don’t ask to see the quilt, because we haven’t made it yet. You need to trust Heartbeat. Whichever you choose, the program itself doesn’t change as far as pricing is concerned.

   If you come in the store for the program on the second Saturday of the month at 9am, doors close at 9:10am, you will pay $5 for a set of block fabric, and if you attend consistently and construct you blocks each month, the subsequent blocks are free. If you want to purchase via mail order, each set will cost you $5 plus $3.50 shipping and handling. If you want to participate in this program, we require that you purchase 501 Rotary-Cut Quilt Blocks for $29.95. Background Fabric Club

Whenever new background fabrics come in we cut 1/3 yard pieces in groups of 6 fabrics.  They are called "Lite 6-packs"  We know how difficult it is to keep a good stash of background fabric.  Especially for those of you who, like us, love doing scrap quilts.  We started cutting the newest fabric just for us and jealous customers spoke up and said "Us too".  So now we are offering this service to you.  Choose 1/3 or 1/2 yard cuts (or more).  You are only charged for the yardage and postage.  We mail to you periodically as we receive the fabric.  In order to keep the postage down we mail quarterly or so.  Don't miss this wonderful opportunity to enhance your fabric collection.
